 Interesting teapot for tourism

Hello! Today we received a package from China with a small kettle only 0.9 liters. It has a very compact size, and it can literally put in a pot of 1.5 - 2 liters. Also in the kettle there is a special element that accelerates heat transfer.

And why do not we do an experiment? Let's measure the time that we need to boil 0.5 liters of water. Take water at an initial temperature of 22 degrees. Then every 30 seconds will measure temperature. The results were as follows:

30 seconds (30 ° C), 60 seconds (40 degrees) to 90 seconds (51 degrees), 120 seconds (62 degrees), 150 seconds (74 degrees), 180 seconds (84 degrees), 210 seconds (95 degrees). The water boil 3 minutes and 45 seconds. The result of experiment we pleased. \

Just fine kettle can be placed on a small gas burner. This design turns steady. Excellent tea for a few people (2-3 people). So let's take this in a kettle with a little hiking.

  1. Hello my friend and smile from America and our scouts to you.
I watched the video earlier and have to say I enjoyed it very much with your chart of what we like to call "Boil times" I see we enjoy the same things. This is a very nice kettle as it is compact sized and has what we call a "Heat Exchanger" those fins or blades on the bottom create a larger surface area for the heat to be absorbed with the aluminum. This translates to faster boil times as you have seen for yourself. It also saves fuel which is so helpful when backpacking several days or long trips. I have seen that this type of design can save about 30% to 40% of the time to boil. In the photos I sent you in the email of our last trip camping the pot you seen with the green handles with the soup can has this design on the bottom. I also used the very same stove or burner you have here the one from china. I also see you enjoy the same eating pleasures as myself. I am putting together the video to go with the photos I sent you earlier of our last camping trip. I appreciate the translation for me as understanding Russian is one thing compared to reading Russian. I hope it will get better with time my friend. This is good though as it helps me learn better Russian and it helps you learn more English or Angliski This makes me smile we can have such a sharing of camping and equipment. Cheers my friend and a 73 to you all. :)
